I haven't shopped at the GAP in decades. When i heard Zac Posen was taking over i was intrigued. I love his clothes and I was curious how he was going to refresh such an iconic company. I've bought a few pieces here and there last year and was pleasantly surprised by the design and quality but I dec...ided to write a review for these low rise jeans because they are my favorite. I love a good low rise but it's been challenging trying to find one that isn't juvenile especially at my age. These are not your Y2K style hip baring pair. These are much more refined and classy. They hit right below the navel with slightly higher rise on the back giving your derrière a good coverage. TTS. These are true straight leg pair and very flattering on the legs. There is a hint of stretch and tends to stretch out a bit so you must wash and dry these after a wear or two. I seriously hope there are more varieties in this cut because in my book these are the perfect jeans.
The product description says these jeans have a 9" rise, but they actually have an 8.5" rise. That half inch does make a difference in how they look. I didn't like the too literal throwback look of these jeans. Going back.

So I think I should have sized up but then the rest (legs hips) would have been too big.Hoping it works and I think should. Just a little too snug. Love the rest!! Perfect. Straight not tight legs and all around sized right as pic. Just know waist needs a little room. Didn't want slouchy so if that's your vibe a size up will work. And not Stretchy which I like. More normal denim. That's why I wouldn't order up - I don't think would fit right.

I have struggled to find jeans that fit correctly. It seems like when you find a pair, the company stops making them. These jeans are mid- rise and I love how they wear and feel. I got the 28/ petite 6. I am 4'11 and 120lbs. I had to exchange the first pair and Gap's customer service was Great and made it so easy. I would absolutely recommend these pants. Thank Gap

Bring back the '90s! It's a 9" rise, which I consider medium. Fairly stiff so it doesn't stretch out during the day. I did buy one size up (Petite 26) for comfort but I'm considering ordering another pair in my regular size (Petite 25) for a slightly different look. Would love to have more washes in these.
