I am 5'4 and 115lbs. I ordered the 26 and 27 regular. I am normally a 26 in Gap or a 25 if the pant/jean runs large as it seems they have lately with Gap. Both fit about the same. The 27 was slightly looser so I kept those thinking that if I gained a few holiday pounds they would still be comfortabl...e. Well, I washed, dried and wore them. By the end of the day I could almost pull them off without unbuttoning. I wish I had kept the 26, but they would have stretched too. Everyone was going on about how these have no stretch, and this is true in the fact that they are a denim material without a lot or any lycra or whatever stretchy jeans are made out of, but I do not think they are that stiff. They do stretch. The length was ok. They came just to the top of my foot. I had a hard time styling them and went with a flip flop in the end because it is still warm where I live. I thought they looked weird with clogs....so, I wish I had at least ordered and tried a petite or maybe I am brainwashed because I have worn ankle length jeans/pants for so long, and when I wore jeans like this in the 90s, I did not have a sense of fashion. Still glad I got them. Love the rise and will be great weekend jeans as it is nice to sit down for once and my waistband not meet by bra band. Lol.
