The most perfect low rise straight leg jean EVER.

I'm so happy that low rise is back in style; I have a long torso and always feel a little goofy in high waisted jeans, especially because I don't have any curves at all, and no defined hips or waist, so low rise is my preferred fit. I'm absolutely a mid rise baggy wide leg jean kinda girl- the slou...

Not Made for Curvy Bodies (weird fit)

These jeans are loose on the waist and compress my butt/hip area. Unfortunate because I like the style. I ordered 28 and they completely flattened my backside, then ordered a 29 and they are still tight in that area yet are way too loose on the waist/stomach. the size 29 that arrived is also lopside...

Not Low Rise

Ordered these online, when I tried them on the waist came up past my belly button. While I do have a short torso, the fact that these fit the same as some high rise pants I own is wild.

I ordered 28 and they completely flattened my backside, then ordered a 29 and they are still tight in that area yet are way too loose on the waist/stomach. the size 29 that arrived is also lopsided at the back (more noticeable when wearing). if you have narrower hips this may be a decent pair for you, but I just don't think they are well made at all. Disappointing.

Fit true to size for me.

I love the length on these particular jeans. Also they fit true to size. I don't have to get them hemmed! Bonus!

I'm so happy that low rise is back in style; I have a long torso and always feel a little goofy in high waisted jeans, especially because I don't have any curves at all, and no defined hips or waist, so low rise is my preferred fit. I'm absolutely a mid rise baggy wide leg jean kinda girl- the slouchier, the better- but I really wanted a pair of jeans that would elevate my look with a slimmer cut without being skinny jeans or too tapered at the ankle, which I will gladly never wear again. Skinny jeans can disappear for good imo, they're horrid. I do love fashion and like to follow the latest trends, and this year all of the runway shows were about a very low rise, straight leg look that hits at the ankle, making them perfect for ankle boots, a ballet flat, a stiletto, or loafers- and these jeans hit the mark perfectly! They're super versatile and will be just as cute with a fitted tank top and sandals as they will be with a button up and an oversized suit coat with some suede loafers, or even an oversized tee and my Adidas sambas. I bought few different pairs of similar jeans, all low rise straight leg, from Free People, Zara, Madewell, and obviously these Gap jeans, and none of them fit the way I wanted except the Gap jeans, they just slipped on like a glove tailored just for me, and I immediately ripped off the tags and ran to leave this rambling and over caffeinated review. Please ignore the dirty mirror picture, I ran to get the UPS package in a bathrobe and tank top and immediately slipped these on. I did size up one according to the reviews, which made me really nervous because usually a 26 is huge on me so these definitely run large, so keep that in mind. They're a perfect fit and I think they'll fit even better after washing. For reference I'm 5'7 and a size 0 or a 25 in pants, but I went up to a 26 in these with a 30" inseam. Love, love, love- I have a feeling my wide leg jeans are going to be having a nice little rest in the closet for awhile!

Finally jeans that fit well and look great

I have tried a lot of other styles. Love the 90s low rise loose jeans, so I tried these as well. I had to go up a size and they fit great.
