Fits decently well, but an overall a pass since cut where thighs meet butt and legs would need to be reworked at the same time as taking in waist a few inches and that gets expensive. Waist a loose comfy 4 but hip a 12, tried a 10. Not comfortable around seat to sit, waist evenly loose all the way a...round, legs are 90s slightly tapered baggy from back in the day compared to model pic but rise is definitely more medium-high just to my belly button. Fantastic light color. 4 stars since they fit as I'd expect to match the size chart and quality looks great.
I wanted to love these jeans because they look extremely good on me with the perfect length and fit in the hips - which is rare when you are 5', 102 lbs with curves. However, the front of the waist felt uncomfortably tight even though the back had a smidge of extra room still. The jeans feel total...ly rigid even though they have 1% stretch so I knew they wouldn't feel much different over time. The inseam is 26" on the petite for your reference and the rise is actually quite low - less than 8" on petite. I like the look enough that I am trying a size up in petite and regular short.

#sweepstakes I really, really love the way these jeans fit me. I hate high-waisted jeans so I was hoping to like these. They sit right at my bellybutton and fit me really well through the hips and thighs. I ordered a light pair and a dark pair and liked them so much I ordered a second pair of each. I went with four stars instead of five because there is quite a bit of variation between the four pairs. One of the dark wash is considerably smaller through the waist and one of the light wash has a bigger waist than the others. All four pairs are supposed to be exactly the same size. They definitely are not.

I love the fit of these, but I did have to size up to a size 6 from my usual 4. The regular are way too long for my 5'3" self, so I ordered the short and waiting to see if they work better. The two colors are great and I love that there are no holes or rips. The rise is perfect on my shorter body, as high rise is sooooo unflattering on me!
