These are comfortable and stylish. I am 5'3" and typically where a size 6. Bought both SP and MP. There was a decent size difference between them. The SP the pockets didn't lay as flat as they should. MP the legs had alot more room the SP. In the end I kept the MP and glad I did. They shrank. They a...re made of 40% lycocell which shrinks between 3-5%. The extra room in the legs shrunk to the leg width of the SP and the length shrunk up slightly as well. At 5'3" the MP hit like the tan and black pair do on the models, slightly above the ankle bone. Barrel/horseshoe jeans are not meant to be full length and these are on the lighter weight side so the length will be good for spring and summer. The waist is elastic with a draw string. The drawstring is thick so once tied doesn't lay flat or nicely. So gonna replace the drawstring which is made up of the jean material with a thinner (not 2 layers like the jean one) and softer string so it lays flatter and is more flattering. Easy fix.
I'll start by saying I LOVE the pants. I bought two pair, the butter yellow and the hot pink. I bought both in my usual size, small. (sometimes I size up to a medium in pants but id say 80% of the time Im a small). The yellow fit perfect and I wore them for like 3 days straight. Then I tried the pin...k and they are HUGE. the waist is too big to even stay up on me. they are definitely marked size small, but the discrepancy is confusing because Id like to buy another pair in another color but I dont know if my yellow ones run small or if my pink ones run large.

Love the fit of these jeans! They do run a bit large because of the drawstring waist, so I'd recommend sizing down. Such an awesome take on the barrel-leg style—very versatile and easy to style in so many ways.

Then I got pregnant and wore them until I was 6months along and then I really had to switch to maternity.
