These are the most comfortable pants I've owned. This includes comparing to wearing sweatpants. I've paired mine with pointed black heeled boots. I've received so many compliments. They are very flattering on me. I'm tall and as always with Gap , their tall is perfect for my 5'11 height and 3 inch ...heels. They do say "low rise" which for my body type , age and no longer a flat stomach, is usually a hard pass, however, these weren't the typical low rise you see worn with crop tops (thankfully) Soft velvet. Perfect stretch. They keep their shape after a long holiday, day, even bending and playing with little ones. Very well constructed and a rich color green. Creams, whites, reds, burgundy even mustard colored tops , sweaters or layered garments coordinate with these pants. I ordered 10 Tall (the toggle isn't working on this review)
It's insulting that the Gap only carries petite up to a 30 waist which is equivalent to a 10. As a long time customer you need to do better.

So happy with my new purchase from GAP. These low rise velvet pants fit like a glove (true to size) and are fine quality and a gorgeous green color. I have purchased many velvet pants from GAP over the years and they are consistently fabulous, low rise but not too low, very flattering fit!

Love the color. Perfect green (not too dark or too green). Comfortable. I got the 8-long, am 5'7.5" and 150lbs. Just wish it came in a mid-rise. Doesn't seem to shed or attract too much lint either.

The Low Rise Velvet '90s Slim Straight Pants have a great retro look and the velvet fabric feels soft and comfortable. These fit perfectly, and have a nice stretch to them plus are so soft and the perfect length as well! I'm very short-waisted and it's always a challenge to try and find pants that fit properly, just below my belly button. These are definitely more of a low-rise and I do find I have to be careful if I'm sitting down as they do drop fairly low but anything's better than those super high-waisted pants that have dominated the market over the last few years! I also have gotten several compliments on them.
