I LOVE the fit of these pants. The material is like a light jean material and is soft, but not stretchy. They do stretch slightly during wear, but not a lot. Others have said they run small. I found them to be very true to size. I am 5'4", 125 lbs. I usually wear a 4/27 reg length in GAP bottoms and... that is exactly what worked for me with these. I ordered 4's and 6's based on the other reviews of them running small and returned the 6's. My only complaint is that after wearing and washing/drying them in the washer/dryer about 4-5 times the back pocket corners have started to form a hole. I would expect this with the pocket construction but not after so few wears and washes and dryings. I suggest hanging them to dry to avoid the wear and tear of the dryer on the back pocket corners.
If you are an hourglass / curvy with thick thighs and hips then you might benefit from a full size up or even two if you want baggy. I usually buy size 10-12 in pants to make room for my hips and then I get the waist taken in by a tailor. These pants in a 14 are still too tight on the hips but loose... on the waist . They will fit you well and look good one size up if you want a fitted look, but I wanted something baggy and roomy so I'm literally going to get a size 16? I am not a size 16 so it feels pretty crazy to have to jump from 10-12 to 16 to feel comfortable. After working so hard to lose weight I will have to cut the tag out so it doesn't feel like I can never keep up

gapcanada.ca/I absolutely love these pants. Sized up 1 and they fit perfectly slouchy. BUT after 2 washes they are starting to develop holes beside the back pockets! So disappointed.

These are cute and comfortable, and I love the green colour. Unfortunately I sized up as I do in most barrel styles and according to some reviews, and the fit was more bulky than loose. With the pocket flaps and loop, there was just too much fabric. I should have stuck with my normal size.

gapcanada.ca/Read the reviews and sized up one...at first I sized up 2 sizes, like many said, but they were huge. These are comfortable and I hope they do not stretch too much because they will get to be too big. 5'8" and 155 pounds - went with a 10 tall. Tall comes to the top of my shoe. I have straight hips and they have plenty of room through the hips but the waist fits.

gapcanada.ca/I am 5"10", 134 lbs. and bought both the 4 and 6 Tall. The 4 are perfect ! I usually buy a 4 tall but ordered both based on others comments. They are fitted but not too much, long enough and so comfy and flattering. I love Gap clothes and how consistent their sizing is. These are a winner!

Love the soft feel of these jeans right out of the package. Can't beat cotton! And the rich brown color is beautiful; it's a color not used very often. Thanks Gap

I tried the size 4 regular and it was too big, then tried size 2 regular and it was too big. Tried size 0 and it fit much better than the 2 but I did not like the way it looked. The length was perfect for 5'2". I usually wear 25petite to 26petite, depending on the style, but I am pretty certain the petite size in this pant would look too short for me.
