This skirt is high end. I love pencil skirts and this has the same fitted vibe. The material is not too heavy or light and there is a lot of structure. It does not feel like any old skirt you could buy anywhere. Sizing is an issue so keep this in mind if there is a restock! I am usually a 8/10 in bo...ttoms - a size 10 works in pencil skirts for me cause I carry my weight in the middle. I am a size 12 in this skirt! I don't mind sizing up at all. I think it's because of how the skirt is fastened - it crosses over and has a corset like effect. I like the "compression" because of my problematic stomach but I think that is why the sizing is off. If you are more evenly distributed in your weight, I think it's probably TTS or you could even size up one since it's not stretchy. If you are like me, size up one from your usual skirt size. The green color is also very refined - I think the UK Gap site had the beige color and I really want that too! Overall pay attention to sizing but run don't walk if this is ever back in stock!

I was concerned about sizing regarding reviews. Actually sizing was perfect for me as size 0, 113lb, waist 26. I love over all but got sitting on the car, seats for long time made bulky and wrinkled tummy area because of double amount of fabrics in the design. Otherwise happy to purchase.

Five stars for VB on this one. She blends the superior cut and contour of this dress with a quality material that maintains the structure and shape of the look. I love it. As for fit. I was elated to have found an item at GAP that finally fits. For once, a size 00 that actually fits like it. The size inflation at GAP has become almost comical, but this piece form VB fits like a true 00 should (in fact, I found it slightly generous). I'm slender and petite but hardly a stick. This contoured skirt offers a classic, haute-casual vibe that works at the office, community events/meetings, or a nice lunch/dinner out on the patio.

I had all but given up on GAP, due to quality issues and size inflation. But this skirt has made me reconsider. First, I am petite and slim, so I need a size 00 that is actually cut for someone slender and small. A size 00 should work on me, but they rarely do at GAP. Usually, they fit like an XL. In contrast, this skirt from VB actually fits beautifully. The cut of this skirt provides beautiful shape and contour, using a material that maintains the structure of the silhouette. Brilliant, classic look!

Great thick material. Size up for the perfect fit. Normally a 4 and the 6 worked best. Love the colour, styling. A classic piece
