I sized up when ordering the Mid Rise Belted Culotte Barrel Pants per other reviews. I too recommend sizing up. My normal size was just slightly constraining. The pants are stylish and the material is super comfortable for hot summer days. They are maybe just more gray - ish than expected, but in no way a deal breaker.

Tried a 16 on in the store, but they were a little tight so we ordered an 18. I was so excited to get these shorts in time for an event I was going to, especially since it's been so hot, but when I tried them on again, they couldn't even button. Looked on the bag, it said size 18, looked on the paper tag, it said size 18, looked at the tag inside the pants, said size 12. So we returned them and reordered the same day. Get them in the mail and double check the size, just in case, and instead of an 18 they sent an 8. I really like these pants so I go to reorder them one last time, and they're out of size 18. I am very disappointed, I don't think I'll ever order anything from The Gap website again.

Love these jeans. I'm between an 8-10 but had to size up to a 12. One other issue I'm having is the built in belt. The two silver "loops"are not stable so if the belt is pulled too tight, the belt completely comes undone. Not sure if it's the pants or a me issue.
