The quality of these jeans is great. The fit would be amazing also, but the actual waist runs one size small. If I were to size up then the rest of the fit in the bum and legs would be off. I'm going to wash and try to stretch the waist a bit while they are wet because that's how much I really like ...these. The pair I purchased is the medium indigo with holes in both knees. For size reference I'm 5'3 and usually wear a 10, sometimes a size 12 in bottoms and a solid 31 waist in Gap. I purchased a 31 Regular. The length is perfect for me with sneakers or even a slight platform shoe.
Gap, what has happened to you? I used to buy multiple pairs of jeans when i found a style i liked; but in last few years have had to return due to quality & fit issues. Things i found with this style: 1) The product title online is not what appears on the item label. These are Mid Rise RELAXED and... they are very relaxed. The photos are not what you get unless maybe you size down. 2) the fabric is super heavy and has a wrinkled look. I was hoping with the high cotton content they would feel like a traditional denim but that is not the case. 3) Inconsistency between colors: I bought both light wash and dark. Both were very large all over, but the dark wash was enormous and much bigger than the light wash. 4) This is suposed to be a mid rise, but the fabric is super bulky and fits like a high rise when you sit down. Not a good look. The positives: Tall size was a good length. I did not wash these as I will be returning them so I can't speak to whether they would shrink. GAP, please get back to your former quality and consistency!

I really wish that someone would get real with women about sizes. I know what my measurements are, and they are not that great. My waist is not 33", it's more than that. So when I buy a pair of jeans that sound like they are going to be too small, yet turn out to be too big, it's confusing. Plus these have some stretch to them...meaning even bigger. If your waist measures 36 inches, and you are told you wear a size 33, you should be suspect. Don't tell me I wear a smaller size than my body measures. Facts matter. Be real.

It's between a hight rise and a mid rise, more high rise on me and it is not a straight leg, it is very wide at the bottom. Not at all what I wanted. I wanted a mid-rise, straight leg jean. My mistake.

These are so cute and good quality but the lengths did not work for me. The tall was way too long and the regular are too short. They need an in between which the description says exists but there is no option on for the "long". Bummed because it's hard for me to find good midrise jeans.
