Seems like a normal fit, decent quality, but the V is so low that I would need to buy a new plunge bra to wear it out of the house.

I've been buying these for years and the quality is poor. Material is thinner, rougher and the fit is smaller. The brown color looks like it's been washed 20 times as it's faded out. The powder blue color reeks of a strong chemical smell that I would not want on my skin and the red looks faded as well.

Love this shirt. Nice quality, good fit, arrived sooner than expected.

Petite extra small fits 5'1" roughly 108lbs, 32/34D chest depending on brand, 27in waist. Hits at hip on me, good length (slightly longer than the GAP PS modern rib tee). Even though this one is also "stretch-to-fit", it fits one size larger than the modern rib tee, which I also purchased. This is my first time buying from gap.com and will be paying close attention to fit description from now on. The top fits nicely and I am considering going one size up for a looser fit. Yes I want more of this tee. The fabric is a medium weight, soft, and with stretch but feels lighter than the modern rib tee. Still Not the ideal fabric for 90+ degree hot summer days but good for cooler days. Honestly, as a perimenopausal woman who can't handle heat, I rather prefer thinner 100% cotton tops. Between the two, I preferred the modern v-neck's neckline, fabric, and fit much better. More colors and patterns please!

As others have said, the style and quality of these have changed to the point it is unrecognizable. i loved the old style. The new one is too short even though i purchased the Tall size, the V neck is much deeper for no reason, the sleeves are shorter, and the fabric is thinner and tighter! what a disappontment when the original was the perfect basic.

Love love these tops. Material is super soft and the fit is perfect. Love the V-neck cut. Bought this in all colors expect the yellow because it was already sold out. Great for everyday wear.

This WAS the perfect t shirt. I have been wearing it for 10 years, but the newest version is awful. The worst part is the weird short sleeves, but the v is also lower and the material is different. What will I wear when mine wear out?!

i ordered 4 of these. one grey, one white, and two black. i absolutely love the fit and how comfortable the material is. it's so soft and form fitting (though a little more showy if you have a big bust). it's also a good length for low to mid rise pants (which is hard to find). the cotton/modal/spandex blend is what gives it its softness and breathability. i did unfortunately have to return the white shirt because it was see through. but gosh i wish there we more colors available especially a dark muave-purple!
