Short torso, petite frame here (Pet Small, 34B) and I kept size Small Regular for a little more length over the Small Petite which shows bellybutton. Description does say "ultra-cropped, hits above the waist." Arm holes were not low at all even in the Regular, and fine with a regular bra. Top was e...asy to put on and take off considering there's no stretch. Both regular and petite sizes left just a little room on the sides to keep the top from touching the body and plenty airflow (think humid NYC summers). Linen-blend fabric is good quality and weight such that the top drapes nicely on the body. Tank would be perfect if length was less "ultra-cropped" since a petite length is offered for those with shorter torso.
Very nice feel and great, classic look in the gingham. This was easily one of my favorite and most versatile purchases of the Summer. True to size. However, after washing in cold water on gentle cycle and line drying, the top shrank significantly. It is now a little too cropped for comfort. I do exp...ect some shrinkage from linen after the first wash, though this was excessive for a linen blend. I would recommend if you are ok with dry cleaning.

Super cute but definitely runs small compared to other Gap items. I am 5'1 and usually a pretty true XXL in Gap and it fits my bust well but because its a straight cut (not slightly flared like it looks in the photo) it gets pretty snug and hits right at the top of my hips (I understand it's cropped, but as someone who is short, I expected it to be a tad longer). Not sure if it's worth exchanging for an XXL tall but I'm still deciding. Just something to keep in mind if you carry more weight in your midsection or hips, you may want to size up!

This top fits perfectly too. It is a bit more crop than I expected, but it looks great with the skort. I took one star off for slightly shorter length. I have Avery short torso and got the XS Petitie, but could probably have done the regular XS too.

I love, love, love this top! The black gingham is my fourth one. I bought three other colours (plus the skirts) last summer. It's my go-to summer blouse. I am 5'2" and it hits about an inch or so lower than a mid-rise jeans waist. I find the regular small to fit best in the armholes, but I gave the petite medium a try this time when the small wasn't available. It's the same length, slightly too big in the armholes, but that minimal difference in the bust size makes the medium hang better. It's boxy, so the front/back/sides on the looser one hang straight down. But on the small, the front/back/sides angle outward ever so slightly. The medium has a chic "not trying too hard" look about it (Audrey Hepburn-esque). I'll just get the armholes taken in a little.
