I sized down to a L based on reviews. I also got a petite, because I prefer an ankle pant. The length is perfect for me (5'6"), but the rise is a little short. I'm Apple-shaped, so my stomach is definitely the issue not the pants. The fabric is like a heavy tshirt, and they feel amazing. I love the ...wide leg, as it has a great swing without being too wide. These are the kind of pants that will be perfect for travel, and they can be dressed up or down. I live where it is hot and humid, and I don't want a full length, heavy pant. I want something that can be worn with flip flops or cute sneakers. It's also so nice that Gap and ON have so many items that are cotton and not synthetics. These pants are giving free people vibes at a much better price!
I'm a 32/33/XL in pretty much all things Gap, unless it's something super fitted. I don't have a big waist/hip difference. I'm 5'9" with a long torso and shorter legs (usually a 30" inseam). These pants hit me just at the ankle, maybe a tad below. I prefer pants like these to hit the top of the foot.... The waistband is the problem. It's a narrow elastic with no drawstring, and it's loose. If I put anything in the not-very-big pockets, the pants fall down. They need a drawstring or wider/more robust elastic or both. I usually have to size up in pants for the waist to fit so they're big in the butt. Not these. I got the red. It does not match the chakra red tee….close, but the tee is a little darker. I did not buy the tank because I'm not a fan of "cropped" and this one wasn't available in a tall in red. I do like the fabric a lot, it's a slightly rough knit but still not too heavy for warmer weather. However, these cost too much to fit this badly.

These pants are lightweight and very comfortable. They run big. I usually wear a size 12 in pants/jeans and I purchased these in a medium and they are still roomy which I like. Very easy to dress up or down.

I am 5"0 150lbs heavy in the belly area I purchased a size Medium Petite and these pants are falling down I wish there was string. Very loose and very wide legs Other than them being to big the length is perfect. They are so comfortable I do recommend but buy a size smaller

Pants would be much better with a drawstring. They were too long and too loose. I got a M Tall and should've gotten a M Regular. However, I'm guessing the M Regular would've still been too loose. I'm 5'8" and 145 lbs with an athletic build.
