I bought these shorts in size 16. For reference, I am an adult. I weigh around 130 and 5'3". Size 16 is equivalent to women's 0-2. These are a low rise. Not too baggy or too loose. The inseam is 3", which is perfect. They are really cute. The waist is a little tight. I could have sized up to size 18...

We wanted to love these but the plus size version of these are much longer than the traditional sizing (almost Bermuda length), massive disappointment.

I am not a fan of high waisted jeans/shorts so I thought I would take my chances with a kids size. Would highly recommend these!
