I fell in love with the blue print, and I'm so glad I got it before my size sold out. As a skirt, it can always be dressed up, but the charm for me was how casual it looks and feels. Because of the low rise, I would only pair it with a cropped or snug t shirt. I also got the brown, which goes aga...inst my usual practice of waiting for a sale! If it didn't sell out it would be my go-to summer birthday gift! Make more.
I'm a die hard GAP fan, but this made me mad. This skirt looks like something I could have made in home ec class - it's stiff, cheap looking, and sheer, but not lined - for the money, I expected a lot more. It's an elastic waist pull on, but the waist is too loose and there is no way to tighten it. ... If it were $19.99 or less, I MIGHT have kept it, only because the fabric pattern is cute.
