My 12 yo daughter is slightly above average for height but very thin (75% height, 5% weight) so most jeans are either too loose in the waist or too short. GAP slim fit jeans are the only brand that fit her, but it's still hit or miss depending on the style. These ones were perfect in the waist but a... little shorter than I prefer. They came to her ankle bone so I won't be putting them in the dryer. They fit slightly tighter and about 2 inches shorter than the slim studded flare jeans I also bought her, which she also loves. They were both size 12 slim.
I was shocked because usually gap stuff fits my daughter PERFECTLY, but I got these in a 12 (she is 11) and they are too small. She is a slim babe, athletic, but she said the hips were too tight. No room to move let alone grow. I exchanged.
