So I am a 27 or 28 depending on the brand (5'4" 120 lbs). I listened to reviews and ordered a couple 29s and many 30s and I sampled each color. The 29s fit well through the hips and waist and the thighs were not 'tight' per say, but I like a little looser in the thighs. They were definitely fitted t...hrough the thighs. The 30s were comfortable through the thighs but loose in the waist and butt. If I move the button over an inch and a half they'll be perfect for me, but I wish I didn't have to. Bottom line - These jeans are jut too slim in the thighs and its kind of a tacky out dated look in my opinion. FYI, I don't have thunder thighs by any means lol.
I'm not sure if it's the sizing or the cut of these, but I was barely able to get them over my hips. I checked to make sure I hadn't accidentally ordered children's jeans. I own about 15 pairs of Gap jeans all in a size 25P, which is what I ordered these in. I was not able to get them over my hips, ...and if I had the rise would have been more like a low rise. I understand the rise is adjusted for petite, but this was ridiculous. I have no interest in ordering these in a size up because the fit just seems completely off.

The quality of these pants is very nice, I like the structure of the material. That being said, they don't have a lot of give and they definitely require sizing up. I am 5'7" 145lb and a size 4 across the board. I listened to other reviewers who said to size up and I am glad I did. I thought the leg would be a bit more of a classic straight leg, but they are definitely slim in the thigh with a slight flare at the bottom. I also wish the length of the regular was a bit longer. I think the Tall would've been too long on me. Either way, they are nice and I will be keeping them.

Overall, I really like these jeans. The shape and length on my 5'5" frame are so flattering. My one negative is that there is a gap in the waist. My thighs can already barely fit in the 29, so I cannot go to a 28, and if I went up to a 30 to better fit my thighs, the waist would be huge on me. Luckily they are high rise, so the gap is not a big deal, and I am just hoping the legs stretch out a bit as I wear them because I like them so much.

I'm 5'2 and 117lbs. I tried on a 26 in stores and they were super tight in the thighs. I ordered a 27 short and while they were a little big in the waist, the thighs still feel like they're bursting at the seams when I bend in them. I feel like I'm pretty evenly proportioned, so I feel like unless you have super skinny legs this cut may be a little uncomfortable on you. Maybe it differed between colors (I got medium indigo), they they're not kidding when they says low stretch.

Love these jeans. My go to jeans now. No more skinny/jegging jeans. So comfy. And I bought my normal size 27/4. Didn't have to go up a size. A new me. Woohoo.

These High Rise '90s Slim Straight Crop Jeans are honestly perfect. The fit is so flattering—snug in the right places but still relaxed enough to feel comfortable all day. The high rise gives that effortless vintage look, and the cropped length hits just right with sneakers or sandals. The denim feels high quality (not too stiff, not too stretchy), so they hold their shape without feeling restrictive. I also love how versatile they are—you can dress them up with a blazer or keep it casual with a tee. If you're looking for that classic, timeless jean that actually fits well, these are it. Definitely a staple in my closet now! #sweepstakes

Cute straight leg jeans that fit good in a nice shade of pink. I sized up one after reading reviews, but I should NOT have, there's a large gap in the waist. For me, these ran true to size. Im sure they'll stretch some too. They're a bit long in regular, but not offered (or available) in petite or short. Bummer. Definitely a high rise and thicker jean, won't be good in the summer heat.

Reviewed at
gapcanada.ca/I bought two pair in black, 27 regular and a 28 petite and both of them were swimming on me. I normally wear a size 27 in every style of gap jeans. I still liked the thick fabric of the black ones so I wear to work. I tried a regular 27 in the tinted medium and they are so small on me. How disappointing that the sizing fluctuates so much.
