I'm so glad I got this dress. It comes with a slip dress underneath that is comfortable and smooth, and the dress itself feels high quality and elegant. It is a tight, stretchy fit so it'll show off all your curves. Some people like that and some don't. I would also call this a maxi dress more than ...a midi dress. It came down a lot further on me than I expected it to based on the photos. I also thought it would have more of a structured A-line fit but I still like it the way it is and will definitely wear it a lot!
I ordered this in Petite XS as usual and it was way too long in the length and sleeves. Hem went to the floor and sleeves completely covered my hands. It wasn't the length as shown in the pictures at all. Disappointing because other than that it is a very pretty dress and very flattering.

Cannot say enough about the burnout-velvet dress! It's subtly sexy & stunning. Looks like a high end designer dress! Nobody will know I paid less than $20- such a steal! I'm 5'5" 135lbs with a large chest (36D). Purchased medium. I was afraid it would be too clingy for my chest, but it makes me look totally proportional! I'd say true to size. Note, It is a long midi- almost maxi. I purchased the brown first. After trying on I IMMEDIATELY ordered one in black too! Such a versatile wardrobe staple! I got this dress on sale for super cheap. I wasnt site what size I needed so I ordered a small and a medium. They both fit in different ways so I just kept both since they were so cheap. I would say it is true to size but you might want to size up if you dont want it to be too sexy.
