I prefer a loose, boxy fit that I can wear over sweaters and sweatshirts, and this coat fills the bill. When I buttoned this up over a thick sweater, I still have breathing room and could cross my arms easily, but it doesn't,t make me look huge. I love that it has both a zipper and snap buttons dow...n the front. Another nice feature is that the lower part of the coat has snaps on each side, so you can open it up for more freedom of movement or close it up to block the wind. The hood is PERFECT. There are side slit pockets for your hands and big patch pockets for your stuff, and both are fleece-lined. I have been looking for a comfortable winter coat for the last few years. Love, love, love this coat!
Like others have said, this coat is cute. I purchased it in the olive color, but will be returning. I am 5'5", 150 lbs and 32H bra. I purchased my normal size medium and there was plenty of room to layer under. The reasons I am returning are 1) the ridiculously HUGE hood that doesn't tighten and wil...l likely not stay up in the wind 2) the material, which changes to a darker color when wet and will show any moisture/rain/melting snow and 3) the side snaps, which let the wind and cold in when you stick your hands in the side pockets. These snaps are likely to assist you when sitting down in cars and such, BUT they are a cheaper option than adding a two-way zipper to the bottom of the coat, as many other manufacturers do tor this purpose. Sadly, I will be returning.

Love this jacket! It feels good against skin, do not restrict movement, I like that it is NOT fitted, keeps me nice and warm, love the large patch pockets!! I like how the fill for insulation stay puffy but not get in the way when I am sitting down or move with it. It compresses well and light. I do not have like the fake fur trim around the neck. Please replace it with other washer/dryer friendly materials like fleece or flannel!! I removed the fur trim because I can't wash it which is good, but then the snaps became exposed and came in contact with my neck all around. Not very pleasant to have cold metal snaps touching my neck all the time. I would also like to see this design but at longer length -- and -- as a vest. I just love the material and construction.

i have 2 other gap jackets (both long, from last year) that i've been living in because it's been so cold. i love them so much. this jacket is just as warm, but ahorter. i love the buttons on the side and the fur collar. the big pockets are also nice. overall, it's a beautiful jacket and am so happy with the purchase.
