The color wasn't as true red as I had hoped—I apparently missed the "washed red" part. It is a washed out red color. The linen felt very cheap and because of that, looked sloppy when I tried it on. Wasn't for me so I'll end up returning.

I can't say enough about why this dress is perfect. The linen fabric is smooth, and the style is such a classy and comfortable dress in gorgeous colors that I purchased the dark brown and then I had to order the washed red when it became available in size large even though it's a little roomy in the chest. I'm 135lbs, 36C and 5'8 and the size Medium fit perfectly. The elastic waist at the back is perfect and an amazing idea for getting comfortable individual fit.I can wear the dresses with my own leather belts for a real polished dressed up look. The short sleeves are so nice in a summer dress for a bit of extra coverage for warmth in cold offices or a bit of protection from the sun. These dresses were well priced high quality pieces at regular price and a steal on sale at the GAP, compared to higher end stores. This dress is a winner in so many categories I hope GAP brings them back every year in different colors and prints! Pale blue and deeper butter yellow, pale pink would be fabulous additions to consider!!! Run and buy what you can, no regrets for this winning dress!
