I just purchased my fifth color of this sweater. It's such a relief to find an awesome, not‑cropped sweater — those are surprisingly hard to find these days. The quality and thickness are excellent. I wore my sweaters constantly over the past year and they still look new. They're too warm for summe...r, but perfect from fall through spring. I wear them with jeans, pants, skirts, and even to work — they're that versatile. I really hope Gap keeps making these and continues adding new colors because I'll keep buying them. For reference, I'm 5'4", 123 lbs, and wear a Medium. The fit is perfectly oversized without being too big. I probably could wear a Small, but I prefer the relaxed fit of the Medium.
I own several of these sweaters and buy at least one every season. They're part of my (L.A.) winter uniform. I purchased two sweaters (lavender, XL & navy blue,XXL), they arrived separately. The lavender isn't as oversized on my plus sized body but it still fits nicely. The navy blue sweater is over...sized perfectly and the color great for me. So why the 3 star review? The blue sweater smelled like straight up chopped white onions. I wore it to work(!), but didn't notice the smell since i had a bit of a cold that was worse in the morning. I smelled some funk all day, thought it was a co-worker's lunch. To my horror, after taking some cold medicine, I realized the FUNK was coming from ME!! I've washed it and it still smells! so if you buy it and it smells return it.

This is the best sweater! I am 5'5 and about 140lbs and my regular size is between a small and medium depending on the brand and fit. I bought the cream in medium last winter and tried a small in brown this purchase and I like the fit a lot better. The small is oversized without looking huge. I saw some people my size wear a large but it looked like a potato sack on me in that size.

Tried it on in store, loved it so much got it in two colors and will be getting more. Honestly, It's the perfect sweater. I'm 5'3", size 4-6, and like the oversized look, so I got a medium and it's just the right amount of oversized without me swimming in it. It also washes amazingly, I have not noticed an shrinkage in the dryer, but if that's a concern for you then definitely air dry. These will be staples all year round in my closet. Love, love, love this sweater.

Sweater is soft with a little bit of pilling. Not super thin, but not super thick. I would say oversized is true as I got a medium (normally I wear small or medium) and found this very large. I probably should've ordered my regular size of small. #sweepstakes

Love I was able to get a fun graphic knit sweater in a tall fit. Too often retailers do not offer tall sizing in novelty items. Overall length and sleeve length was perfect and still provided the oversized fit. I'm a tall fit only clothing at 6' with 37" inseam and long arm length, with a long torso and rise. Narrow shoulders and hips. Looking forward to wearing in the cooler weather. Glad the bear's sweater in in my favorite neutral RED.

This adorable Gap Bear sweater definitely give Ralph Lauren vibes at a significantly lower prize point. The quality cotton is amazing and the neutral colors are a classic. The fit is oversized, so you should size down unless you like it to fit big.
