I've been buying these long sleeve tees from Gap for years and they never disappoint! They fit true to size and are very comfortable…they mold to your body without being tight at all. You can wash them over and over and they still look good. I wear them with jeans, leggings or sweatpants (mostly swe...atpants in the winter). They are super cozy! I hate layers in the winter and you don't need layers work this tee unless you want to. More colors would be good but to be honest, I really only wear the black, white, gray or navy. 100% staple in my winter wardrobe.
I've been buying 3 Modern crew neck T-shirt and the previous versions of this shirt in white every year for the last 5 (or more) years to wear under my uniforms. This year, I've noticed a big change in the quality. The material is thinner and lighter. It does feel soft and smooth, but just not as ...heavy as I need it to be. The color also seems dingy, it is more of an off-white, not as bright white as it has been in the past. The shirt reminds me of the Old Navy version a few years ago, thin material, cheaply made and stretches out after a couple of washes. I returned them and will be finding another brand. :(

I ordered the Medium Tall. The fabric feels fantastic...thick enough to not be see through but thin enough to not be too warm. The trim around the neck, wrists and bottom is thick so that it doesn't roll or wrinkle. And the option of choosing Tall is the icing on the cake because I don't want my tshirts riding up. I'm 5'6" and it lays perfectly below my hips so I can tuck it in without it bunching or wear it out without it being too long.

It's a very nice t-shirt but fits tight and is a bit heavy for me. The vintage t-shirts are looser and a lighter material which work better for me living in Miami weather!

This has been my staple tee for 15 years. Not anymore. You can tell the quality has declined because the material is much thinner and doesn't hold up to wear the way it used to. I hope the money you saved with this change was worth alienating the customers who have been loyal to you for years.

I have tons of these and loved them for years. This new batch I received today is a different material. Its not as thick and soft as they used to be. Disappointed with this new quality.

I've bought many of the Gap Modern T-Shirts in the past because the quality used to be excellent. The fabric was thick, soft, and durable, and the Tall sizing worked perfectly for my long torso. Unfortunately, the most recent one I bought seems different. The fabric is noticeably thinner and the shirt fits smaller and shorter than before, even though I ordered the same size and Tall option. Really disappointing since this used to be such a reliable staple.
