I decided to size up based on other reviews and it was wayyyy too big when I did that. The sleeves were baggy and it was just too big for what should be a semi fitted shirt. Just stick with your normal size! I had to return and now unfortunately the colors I wanted are sold out :(
This top, like many RECENT Gap tops, RUNS SMALL! The sizing is also inconsistent among colors, e.g., pink is almost ok, but the red is very tight. I've worn an S in Gap tops for decades. I kept two M's only because I got them at a low price and can wear them as 'warmer' workout tops because the shir...t has elastine. The material feels a bit too synthetic and cheap. I kept the blue and black because the material seems like it can better withstand pet fur (pet parents - you know what I'm talking about with dark colors and pet fur - some materials are like magnets for pet fur). The problem with going up a size in this top is that the shoulder area get s bit bubbly - especially around the seams. I am surprised because I have broad shoulders and there was even too much material for me. All in all, since I got the two shirts for a low price, I'll take the risk if they don't work out.

This is a perfect long sleeved T-shirt for layering or on it's own. My bust is 39" and I ordered a Medium, I love the way it fits, snug in all the right places but not too tight.

I like the shirt fine but it arrived with no packaging, no tag, and like, 3 weeks late- clearly it was a retune and then someone just threw it in a gap mailing bag and sent it to me. Idk- felt kinda passive aggressive- all I wanted was a basic white shirt and now I feel like gap is angry with me for not ordering jeans to match.

I find these basics run pretty true to size, for reference I'm 5'6", 130 lb with athletic build and I ordered a small which fits perfect, with a little extra fabric on the sides. For snugger fit I could've sized one down. Matches well with jeans and just about anything. The yellow is such a beautiful pastel, mild yellow. Washed and dried on low heat and still retained its original size and shape. #sweepstakes
