I've never owned anything with alpaca before. When the sweater arrived, I thought it might have been worn before realizing all the hairs were a part of the sweater. There are some really long wool threads, so be aware. That said, the sweater is very stylish, comfortable, and soft. Fit was as expecte...d. This will elevate your style. My major complaint - the sweater had a strong perfume aroma on arrival. Somewhat delicate, dry clean only.
I ordered a medium, but it runs much larger than expected and fits very baggy. The material is also hairy and scratchy, which makes it uncomfortable to wear. Unfortunately, this sweater did not meet my expectations.

Beautiful sweater with a lightweight feel. One caution: the on-line fabric and care instruction say to machine wash cold, however the label sewn on the sweater says "dry clean only". Why the discrepancy and will I ruin the sweater if I wash it?
