Not quite right

I typically buy curvy jeans from other brands, so when I saw Gap's more affordable version, I decided to give it a try. These jeans are breezy, comfy, and mostly flattering. However, I still had a slight waist gap in the back, so I'm going to return them. They fit comfortably in the hips and thighs,...

I only buy gap ultrasoft denim because of how comfy it is and these are no exception. I wish the tall/curvy came in smaller sizes. If I wanted a snug fit in the waist (I don't) my true size would be about 25 but I got these in a 27 curvy tall. They hang off of me a bit but that contributes to the baggy look. Mine are nice and long, they touch the ground even with thick soled sneakers. I'm 6ft with a 36 inch inseam. In the picture it shows the denim with one leg longer than the other and that is actually true for the pair I received. Weird, but it doesn't make a difference to me. I purchased two and on one pair I cut the bottom hem off for a raw/frayed look and it's super cute. Oh and the Ultra soft material is prone to wrinkling/creasing if you don't neatly hang it right out of the dryer. I don't mind ironing but just a heads up thats it isn't as low maintenance as rigid denim.

very chic and comfortable

These jeans are very lightweight but not too much. Good for a summer or fall look. SIZE DOWN! I ordered a size down 8tall and my normal size 10tall and they were crazy long and pretty loose through the waist and hip. The size 8tall hit right at my ankle and fit like a glove. Other reviews also suggested ordering a size down.

Nice jeans

Review of the Curvy Mid Rise UltraSoft Baggy Jeans Dark rinse curvy regular short Me: 36waist 47hip 5'4" 30inseam, short torso thick thighs Pros: Medium-lightish weight denim, soft, good back pocket placement. Dark rinse has dark stitching which looks very nice. No scratchy tags. Washed and dried well with no noticeable shrinkage. First washed with vinegar rinse and had no color bleeding or transfer during or afterwards. Great sale price and free shipping .Easy in-store return. Cons: Inaccurate waist/hip measurement (for this colorway at least) so had to make multiple orders and returns. The chart recommended 33 - 34, I ended up fitting the 30 - 31. Rise: I have a short torso so the rise is a bit long in front but it goes with the baggy look. Would have been nice to have an option for my size in the petite version .Length: The short fit me ok given my inseam, but if you have a shorter inseam you may find the short to be too long. Wear: After a couple hours of wear on a hot day, the 31s stretched out a little bit sloppy, so ordered an additional pair in size 30 since they were on sale. Slight pilling at crotch area after first wear. Makes me wonder how long that area will last. Don't normally have a problem with that, but the fabric is a bit thinner than regular denim. Note that the legs are very wide at the bottom. It's fine for my preference and proportions but may be too wide for some people's liking.

The jeans is light weight. It's good for the warm weather.

I bought the dark wash and medium and both fit the same (size 27/4 fits an actual size 6) and I got them in petite and they are the perfect length. Got the off white (same size) and they are too small around the waist and super short (way to short for even 5'3" me). So I am now trying a 28R to see if they will fit.

I purchased these jeans last summer and they fit perfect. I wanted a fresh pair I ordered the same exact size and length but somehow the new pair fit like a size 27 regular length. Seriously??? I'm done!!!

Should've listened to reviews - not curvy

These jeans feel great, and are especially nice and summery in the cream color, but sadly they are not truly curvy. Laid down, they look entirely straight through the leg and hips, and just the waistband nips in maybe an inch or two, which is not even close to enough for truly curvy shapes (I have a 14" differential between waist and hips). I could pull these off without even unbuttoning them. Such a bummer.

I have these now in 3 colors and LOVE them. The denim is soft and they are SO flattering. Thank you Gap for making curvy and tall jeans.
