I tried these jeans because they were on sale, and I wasn't expecting much since Gap jeans generally aren't curvy enough for me. I was pleasantly surprised—they fit me amazingly well! For reference, I'm more of an hourglass shape. My measurements are 31.5" waist, 39.5" high hip, and 45" low hip, with a front rise of about 14 inches. I don't have particularly thick thighs; my lower hips (just below my butt) are just wider. Most high-rise curvy jeans are too big in the waist and too small through the hips, so finding a good fit is difficult. These jeans sit just below my waist and are both comfortable and very flattering. I think the barrel shape provides the perfect amount of room through my lower hips, while the waist and upper hips are relaxed but still fit nicely, especially for a non-stretch jean. I don't have any waist gap, and the back stays smooth without bubbling above my butt. I suspect these jeans are intended to be worn lower on the hips, but I'd have to size up to do that, and the fit would be much less flattering on me. I think these are probably better suited to hourglass shapes than pear shapes, although many people (myself included) are somewhere between the two. I was so excited to finally find a pair of jeans without a waist gap that I bought a second pair in another wash! As for sizing, I kept the pair that felt a little too tight at first because I expected them to stretch with wear, and that turned out to be the right decision. Initially, the waistband was a bit snug, and the jeans were tight through the seat, making them uncomfortable to sit in. After wearing them for about two days, they relaxed and now fit perfectly. The waistband has just the right amount of room, and they're comfortable whether I'm standing or sitting.

Perfect mix of baggy, but fitted, AND true curvy fit in my opinion. 1) My measurements: Height = 5'3.5", weight = 115lbs, waist = 24.5", hips = 35", leg length=32". I do not have thick thighs, and I do not carry much weight in my abdomen. I ordered a size 25, regular length, curvy fit. 2) Fit: I really like the fit of these jeans. The leg length fits just past my ankle while standing. They are loose on my thighs. They are tight enough against my waist that they shape the upper part of my booty, but flow loosely on the lower part of my booty. There is no bagginess in the crotch area. The waist is not a perfect fit; there is minimal gaping on the waist for me personally, but it does not gap at all while sitting nor does the waistband stick out significantly while standing. A comparable, non-USA brand would be the Bershka brand High-waist barrel jean size 00. 3) Material: They are jean material. They are a decent thickness and do not stretch much with short term wear (I have not had them long enough to speak to long-term wear). I would absolutely recommend these to somebody looking for a curvy-fit barrel jean. They are super cute and conformable!!

I have a handful of barrel leg jeans from many different companies from high-end to low end and Gap jeans never disappoint. My body type is athletic with a more rectangular torso, but athletic legs. Even though I don't have the narrow waist the curvy style fits great. I have both the regular version and the tall version. For reference I'm 57 and the regular fits ankle just hitting the ankle bone and the tall gives a more slightly gathered look at the bottom and is great with both a kitten heel or flats and does not drag. Hgt 5'7", 153 lbs athletic build

Buyer beware! Ordered my usual size 28P in medium wash and the length was description accurate, inseam was 27" and felt good. The sizing was too tight so I returned for 29P, still too small but the inseam measurement was 33". Pants are labeled as petite. Two stars for what feels like sturdy denim and good quality, nice wash. I want to love these pants but not carrying curvy in stores and inconsistent production/labeling makes me hesitate even trying again.

These have zero stretch, (and run a bit small imo) so beware if you're looking for something to sit in comfortably. I'm 5'9" and 175lbs, curvy built. I got the 10T and the length is perfect but the jeans are snug.

I don't understand how these can be considered curve jeans? So disappointed by the fit of these. They're tight on the hips and thighs and loose on the waist -- the opposite of what you'd expect with curve jeans.

These are so flattering and comfortable for wider legs and hips with an average waist. Please restock!

Nothing about these were curve love friendly. I would have to size up to fit right but then there would be too much gaping in the back. These are also very rigid. No stretch or softness to them once so ever
