The 365 shorts flare out a bit at the bottom which makes them dressier than the 11". They look professional enough to wear to work when worn with a shirt tucked in or with a jacket. Great shorts but very generously sized. I purchased my normal size 2 but should have noted the over sizing in the cut and ordered a 0. They are very nicely tailored, a great Bermuda length. I really love the neutral color pockets so they don't show through the white linen (great attention to detail here). The fabric is light, airy but smooth, cool feeling with a nice weight and drape. Very happy with my purchase although they appear more like a skirt or short palazzo shorts. Still a great option for a tropical vacation.

The white shorts have skin-color pockets in the front and back, on the inside, so you don't get the "white" pockets showing (like so many other white pants/shorts). Very thoughtful design by Gap. Would recommend. I usually wear size 6 but found the size 4 looks better on me. Size 6 was baggy like in the stock photos on the model.
