The 365 shorts flare out a bit at the bottom which makes them dressier than the 11". They look professional enough to wear to work when worn with a shirt tucked in or with a jacket. As a tall and mid size girl (5ft8, 160 lbs) I have a hard time finding shorts that fit well. These fits perfectly and the quality is amazing. To be honest I returned them because I did not realized it was linen and I was looking for another specific type of fabric.
