I'm about 5'6", 130 +/- lbs, size 6 on average, between Medium and Small in bottoms, usually. I didn't want skin-tight so, after reading reviews, got Medium--and they fit perfectly. Definitely more pants-like (jeggings?) than work-out leggings, but I saw that in reviews and it's what I wanted. The... only things I don't love are 1) fabric is a a little more dressy/officey than expected. I love its weight, tho. Maybe make some in a lightweight twill? and 2) (as often the story w Gap) I wish there were a few more interesting color choices. I will buy more of these. So flattering and comfy, a nudge away from skinny pants, but works with a blousey blouse, and they fit me just right everywhere. (PS, looks like the photo might be getting elongated in the upload. I dunno... )
Three stars for the odd fit. Sadly I will be returning these. I have a smaller waist to hip/butt ratio. For this reason I sized up as suggested (normally 4P up to a 6P). The waist was still tight and the rest of the pant was too large. This style may be best suited for an hourglass figure. The... grey color is perfect for spring, the fabric substantial. It's definitely a pant, not a traditional legging. Do not purchase if you want a legging.

I bought these a size up 6Tall, instead of my regular 4Tall based on reviews and they were too loose in the legs, and around the waist. I'll try my normal size and see if they fit. The length is great with my 35" inseam.

Size up. Normally wear 4 tall and went up to a size 6 tall in this for the same type of fit. It gets very wrinkled in the wash. I air dry and most of the wrinkles aren't noticeable when wearing since it's so fitted.
