I love this skort. I bought the black one and it became an instant staple. I'm around a size 8, and the medium sits a little below my belly button. It's definitely short and flirty, but the loose shorts underneath make it pretty comfortable to wear. I liked it so much that I ordered the red and the flax color, and the sizing isn't quite the same as the black one. The flax one is mid (almost low) rise and longer on me because the waist is larger despite them both being M. The red is about the same as the black, maybe a tiny bit smaller in the waist. They all fit and look cute, they just all fit differently. If you have a small waist and shorter legs and prefer a snug look, you could probably get away with sizing down.

The thread of the hem came out in the wash on the second washing! Luckily I have a needle and thread. This skort is the perfect summer thing to run around in for a day at a bbq or city park concert with a transition to dinner out. The linen blend needs a press after a wash… the fabric is cool but sturdy and the fit is great!
