drawstring waist is funky on this

Ordered 3 skirts all going back. Very straight cut makes it lay strange on body if you have any hips or shape. Also these skirts should be longer for a tall length.

Expected the waistband to be a little more elastic but it's mostly just fastened by the string tie. Bought the petite sizing and while the length is great for my height, the slit does seem a bit higher than expected on me. Overall still love the pattern and quality!
