I'm so happy that low rise is back in style; I have a long torso and always feel a little goofy in high waisted jeans, especially because I don't have any curves at all, and no defined hips or waist, so low rise is my preferred fit. I'm absolutely a mid rise baggy wide leg jean kinda girl- the slou...chier, the better- but I really wanted a pair of jeans that would elevate my look with a slimmer cut without being skinny jeans or too tapered at the ankle, which I will gladly never wear again. Skinny jeans can disappear for good imo, they're horrid. I do love fashion and like to follow the latest trends, and this year all of the runway shows were about a very low rise, straight leg look that hits at the ankle, making them perfect for ankle boots, a ballet flat, a stiletto, or loafers- and these jeans hit the mark perfectly! They're super versatile and will be just as cute with a fitted tank top and sandals as they will be with a button up and an oversized suit coat with some suede loafers, or even an oversized tee and my Adidas sambas. I bought few different pairs of similar jeans, all low rise straight leg, from Free People, Zara, Madewell, and obviously these Gap jeans, and none of them fit the way I wanted except the Gap jeans, they just slipped on like a glove tailored just for me, and I immediately ripped off the tags and ran to leave this rambling and over caffeinated review. Please ignore the dirty mirror picture, I ran to get the UPS package in a bathrobe and tank top and immediately slipped these on. I did size up one according to the reviews, which made me really nervous because usually a 26 is huge on me so these definitely run large, so keep that in mind. They're a perfect fit and I think they'll fit even better after washing. For reference I'm 5'7 and a size 0 or a 25 in pants, but I went up to a 26 in these with a 30" inseam. Love, love, love- I have a feeling my wide leg jeans are going to be having a nice little rest in the closet for awhile!
I just received a "leave your review" email from the Gap, even though my jeans are still "Waiting to be picked up by carrier". I ordered them 11 days ago and they have been "waiting" since the day after I ordered them. Other items in my order were delivered last week, but these jeans seem to be stuc...k. I finally called customer service yesterday. The young woman I spoke with basically said this happens sometimes and I should just be patient. Now we are in the middle of a huge winter storm, so nothing is going to be "picked up" for awhile. I ordered these to take on an international trip that was 2 1/2 weeks away when I placed the order. Not only will I not have the jeans to take with me, but there will be a UPS packed delivered while we are away. I'm feeling very frustrated.

I love the length on these particular jeans. Also they fit true to size. I don't have to get them hemmed! Bonus!

I have tried a lot of other styles. Love the 90s low rise loose jeans, so I tried these as well. I had to go up a size and they fit great.

First low rise pants I've found in recent years that are actually low rise. Great fit and good denim. Will be buying more in additional colours.

As someone 5'3" with a short torso I'm finding so may high rise jeans. Which means they will fit me right beneath my bra! These have a perfect rise for me, they're not super low rise. I did have to go up one size because they are 1% stretch and I'd say run a bit small and long. However, I'm keeping them and just need to decide it I want them hemmed. When I order short length they are usually too short for me. So I would recommend these if low rise is your thing!

Like these jeans but no stretch and fit a bit tight. A bit expensive for the quality of the jeans

Would be perfection with a softer denim (like the old 1969 jeans fabric) and a tiny more room in the waist. Love the fit but not the bonus exfoliation from the rough denim. Nevertheless, best fit GAP has had in years so not knocking it, but would love a return of the 1969 line as mine are wearing thin after all these years.
