I haven't shopped at the GAP in decades. When i heard Zac Posen was taking over i was intrigued. I love his clothes and I was curious how he was going to refresh such an iconic company. I've bought a few pieces here and there last year and was pleasantly surprised by the design and quality but I dec...ided to write a review for these low rise jeans because they are my favorite. I love a good low rise but it's been challenging trying to find one that isn't juvenile especially at my age. These are not your Y2K style hip baring pair. These are much more refined and classy. They hit right below the navel with slightly higher rise on the back giving your derrière a good coverage. TTS. These are true straight leg pair and very flattering on the legs. There is a hint of stretch and tends to stretch out a bit so you must wash and dry these after a wear or two. I seriously hope there are more varieties in this cut because in my book these are the perfect jeans.
The product description says these jeans have a 9" rise, but they actually have an 8.5" rise. That half inch does make a difference in how they look. I didn't like the too literal throwback look of these jeans. Going back.

Just what I hoped for: low rise!!! I ordered a 29 short, which were fine but just a bit loose. So I ordered a 28 short as well. Waiting for that order to arrive. Love these jeans (go well with my new Converse high tops)

Love love love these jeans! They are very flattering. The only thing I'm a bit worried about is the length. It's perfect right now. Hope they don't shrink. But even if they do, I can always buy "tall" (love this GAP option). I am 5'7" 160# with a muscular build (and I usually have trouble finding jeans that are comfortable and look good).

These fit like a glove, hugging in all the right places Finally a pair of jeans that make my tush look amazing!!! It is as though they were made for me! The denim has a little stretch, so they are comfortable but do not stretch out. The lowers rise is also flattering. I am si very happy with these jeans!

La coupe est super, le tissu est épais donc il tient bien. La taille est à un endroit plus flatteur qu'une taille haute. Je les adore.
