Always looking for a cute and relatively modern swimwear. This skort is super cute. It's often hard to find mini swim skirts that have actual shorts bottoms and not just briefs so I was really excited to try this. I ordered an XS - my usual size - and I couldn't even get them on. Returned for a siz...e S which fit and I kept but it was on the tighter side and I could probably even fit in a M.
First the good, I love the design of this, it's unique, stylish and flattering, and doesn't ride up! I bought the pink gingham color and I'd say it leans more purple in person, but is very pretty. The sizing is just really, really off, the size chart feels like a joke. I have a 25" waist and 34.5" h...ips so I would have thought the XS would be fine (size chart gives measurements of 26" and 36"). The waist band is so tight I could hardly get it over my hips and was just too tight when it was on. The skirt part was also too short, pulling awkwardly. Luckily I read reviews first so I also bought the Small, which fits well. I really wish The Gap would do better with their sizing, especially for the items they don't sell in store. This really fits a good 3" smaller in the waist than the size chart states.

What w neat concept. The skirt in front hides my apron tummy. The shorts in the back gives all the sass to my bubble butt. Get this - it's all goodness.
