I complained about the fit of these in my initial posted review after first wearing them, and I've changed my mind. After feeling how well these hang from the waist and with the ankle cuffs cinched up, I've decided that these are actually very comfortable, even on hot summer days. For someone who do...esn't really like linen or shorts and prefers the texture and look of thick 100% cotton, these cargos are great. I like the fact that there is no polyester blend liner, too. So overall, I rescind my first comment about these having a strange fit (the twill baggies fit differently and good in their own right) and actually appreciate how these are tailored now. Good job Gap.
Velcro on rear and leg pockets, not my favorite and awkward to use. Plastic zippers on fly and side pockets, seem durable. Waist band draw cords are useless... the plastic pinch spring is very weak and the cord slips... dont rely on them. No belt loops so buy your waist size. Very comfortable for ca...rgo pants, cotton material is soft and on the thinner side.

I wanted cargo pants that were comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I had hoped that the elastic at the waistline would work out well, it would not stay at the tightness I adjusted to. In other words, I'd tighten the waist, but it would loosen immediately, so I returned them. No wonder they weee on sale.

Strange fit compared to the twill cottons. I appreciate the 100% and material and stitch quality, but I'm not sure if I will come to appreciate these cargos due to the way they fit.
