I love these shirts, especially the plum color. It's such a deep and rich shade and I'm typically not purple shirt fan! The material is thick, but not too. Sewing quality is great. I love that it's not tight, but also not boxy so the fit is flattering.
I bought medium and it's a great fit. 5'4 168... currently 23 weeks.

Gap changed manufacturers- NOT the shirt in pictures now
I have been ordering the modern maternity crewneck and modern maternity v neck shirts for years. They are normally wonderful! They fit well, good quality cotton with an extra long body - and, most importantly, with NO bulky ruching along the side seams. This winter, Gap changed their manufacturing f...rom Turkey to Sri Lanka and quality control completely dropped off. At first, I was sent a mix of shirts with ruching and correct shirts with no ruching, all of them labeled as being the same modern maternity shirts. I've called Gap customer service several times and escalated a case to try to get the right product exchanged, but no one at Gap is able to figure this out. This shirt is not supposed to have any ruching. But the last three orders I've placed since November are a totally different product, with thick ruched fabric through the belly side seams. I wish Gap would bring this up their supply chain ladder and figure it out, so that this shirt returns to its original consistent quality. As of now, I would not recommend ordering unless you understand you will not get the shirt that is featured in the model photos above.
Comfy and flattering at 6 months pregnant. Ruching on sides is nice and helps to show off bump. This is a form fitting top. The length is very nice and overall it would be worth buying more.

I started wearing these when I was pregnant and continue to buy more years later. The shirt is soft and super comfortable, upper body is fitted and fits perfectly and I like the looser bottom with ample room to tuck in, or wear out.
