Great everyday basic

I should first note that I am 6.5 months pregnant and I bought this shirt in the hopes that it would not only comfortably cover my bump, but also be long enough that I'm not constantly tugging my shirt down over my belly (IYKYK). That being said, I'm so glad I bought this because this is a great eve...

New styles have a different fit from previous years

Bought this shirt last year in black and white and I wear them all the time, they are closet staples for me. I would give this item 5 stars for last year's version. I typically wear M Petite (L Petite for some styles that are more fitted or have little stretch) but S Petite in this shirt is still pe...

I have 4 different models of this shirt. and truly love them all. however the new optic white doesnt feel thick or like proper poplin cotton. it is thin cotton and see through. the sleeves are weird too. pretty disappointed with this one. I'm usually a size medium but I've had to size down.

No longer an oversized big shirt?!

I have multiple big shirts. I have sent XXL back for XL on my existing collection. Just ordered 3 more and new sizing was consistent- two sizes too small (tight!), short/regular length (definitely not legging friendly), and fabric quality is cheap and thin. Why would Gap change the fit and not let customers know?

i own 4 big shirts in multiple colors, bought 2 more last week only to find that the length of the shirt is 3 inches shorter than all the big shirts i already own. i will be returning these new big shirts, not falling for this shrinkflation.

Ridiculous new design and collar

I have been wearing the "big shirt" for years. It is a wardrobe staple. It has gone through some design changes over time some of which have been ok but mostly they are bad (super long and tough to fold cuffs). But the most recent update has made the collar comically oversized and totally unflattering. It is too large to wear popped and resembles a peter pan collar when worn down. Looks terrible in every color way. Please return to your original design! I have to return all the new ones as they are awful. I hope this isn't the end of the gap's resurgence

Love it. Over sized- so it's meant to style that way. Regularly a M, ordered a small and it is perfect. Good quality (ordered the optic white) not see through and the shirt has nice tailoring- large collar, large cuffs that roll up nicely. I've washed and line dried 2x and it's better each time. Great w/ leggings, stirrup pants, jeans and shorts. Exactly what I was looking for.

The collar throws the entire think off. Doesn't suit the rest of the tailoring Something too clown-ey about the collar for me,so will be returning. .

Gap poplin shirts are the best. However, this year they are very big.

Love the material and quality of the fabric. The shirt was too big on me (purchased XS petite) and if was 16 weeks pregnant when purchased, so i had to take it in, and then it was an attractive amount of oversized. Just washed it for the first time (purchased the pink colour) and the colour is so faded with blotches of faded dye all over. My photos make the colour look brighter than it is in real life. So disappointed, as I washed in cold water with gentle wash.
