I am usually a Medium and sometimes have to size up to a Large because of my waist. However, the Medium fit perfectly and I did not find it to be too tight in the waist at all. It's such a flattering fit. I also purchased this shape in last year's gingham pattern. I love that it fully covers you but... is super lightweight for warmer days. I also think it's even prettier in person. I was hesitant to order because of the pattern, but in person, I love it.
Waist is too tight, but the rest of the dress is too puffy. Dress has a waist but the slip doesn't which is strange since it bunches up. Not flattering on. I'm usually size 2-4, ordered a medium because I wanted the flowy look but was ill-fitting,

I love Doen dresses but this is a bad fit, the top was fine but the button at the waist is soooo tight and there's no room to resew the button. It's a gorgeous dress for someone with a tiny waist.

I have many Doen dresses and this one is true to a beautiful Doen silhouette and fabric. The fit is a little off, the sleeves and chest large while the waist drapes nicely. I still love it and will keep it. Many complements received when I wear it.
