This really is a cute dress, but it's too short to be worn in a professional environment, and it's too "business-y" for me to want to wear as a casual everyday item. I'm 5'4", and when I stood stand straight up, the dress hits 2-3 inches above my knees. Unfortunately, as soon as I raise my arms or... bend at the waist at all, it becomes much shorter. A few things that may be useful to others: First, the gray herringbone fabric includes wool. I think it was 29% wool according to the tag. Second, the pockets are real (though stitched shut... you can unstitch them). It really is a nicely made item, but it's just too short.
I find that Gap dresses usually run on the larger end, but I had the opposite problem with this dress. I ordered my usual size large, and it was so snug. There's no stretch or zipper. I feel like I would have to order two sizes larger for it to work. Will be returning.

Beautiful in person and I like that it's fully lined. Because it's so structured and there's no stretch/give, make sure you have the right size. I thought I'd be okay sizing up but the armpit and neck holes were a bit loose.

This fits great! Bump/bloat friendly but doesn't make you feel unshapely. Can be dressed up or down, very versatile piece!

Simple clean design but runs a bit small. Would have been easier to have a zipper on the side rather than a button closure with a small opening
