Linen can be scratchy and uncomfortable for me this fabric is great and not see through for white pants. True to fit for size and length I'm 5'4 and I may hem an inch to wear with flats. They would be fine if I chose to wear a heal. Petite would limit me to just flats The only thing I would change is that I wish they came in mid waste versus high waste because again I think it's the most versatile style. The half elastic waistband in the back makes it comfortable

I'm a sucker for high waisted pleated pants, and these are the best I've found in a while. I'm 5'6" and don't wear heels ever - they might be a little long but not a big deal. The chambray color is perfect and feels both classic and modern. You can dress these up or down. I wore these with a cropped t-shirt (also from Gap), a studded belt, and gladiator sandals, and nobody could tell me anything. On my way to buy 2 more pair.
