The material is nice and the shorts are well made. I found the waist band to be small and the closures are riveted so you can't move them. I have size 16, 5'6 and 180lbs apple shape.

They're cool! Linen so nicer but slung lower for more modern vibe. You could wear a T-shirt or a blazer or a light cashmere sweater and all would work.
