If you're struggling to find a perfect maternity pant that looks professional, get these. After reading the negative reviews (to see if there was a recurring issue), I went out on a limb and purchased these. I have never been so happy with a pant purchase in my life. I'm 5'6" with a pre-pregnancy we...ight of 128. I bought my pre-pregnancy size of a 4 with regular length and they hit right at my ankle. Now that I'm definitely showing at 19 weeks with my first, I am seriously considering buying a second pair of these just so I don't wear them out too quickly! The belly band fits comfortably with plenty of room for my bump to exponentially grow, the fabric is soft and breathable on my sensitive skin, and best of all, they stretch to accommodate my movement at work as a teacher. I almost cried the day I first wore them because I was so happy about finding a comfortable, fitted pant that made me feel pretty again! Overall: I love the look, love the feel, loved the price, and love the fit.
I previously wrote a very positive review about these pants, but now that I've had them for a little bit longer, I am not as pleased. I don't know if washing them has made them more prone to stretching out, but they will not stay up. I am constantly pulling them up throughout the day and it is very ...annoying. I still like the style and that they come in long, but the waist/hip area is way too big. I'm hoping that they'll fit better as I get bigger.

gapcanada.ca/Trouser material is nice and thick; the band is Nicely fitted, and made out of a spandex-type material vs plain cotton (this will be nice as I grow more!). I'm between a large and XL; I wish I would have sized down! Drawback: pants slide down a little throughout the day; obviously with maternity pants they're awkward to hike up.

I thought I would love these after trying them on but they stretch out so bad I look ridiculous after a few hours and feel sloppy. Total waste because I can't tolerate it. Perhaps I should have gotten a 2 instead of 4. Hard pass on these.

I wanted to like these pants, in fact, I was sure I would because I have a few pairs of the non-maternity version that I love. Unfortunately these just don't do it for me. They definitely run small compared to other Gap maternity pants but as other reviewers have commented, they stretch out through the day. You get a sweet spot for a couple hours but that's it. The synthetic panel is less supportive than the thicker cotton on other maternity pants, which in turn does not help them stay up. They lack beltloops, which would help. The pockets are just for show they aren't real and the way they hit my hips is just annoying. I'm 5'2" and they shrank up to a borderline Capri length even on me, even though I hang dry them most of the time. My maternity clothes have been exclusively from Gap and these are the only item I actually don't like. I'll tolerate them for the rest of my pregnancy because I'm done spending money on maternity clothes and I need pants to wear to work, but I would neither recommend nor buy them again.

gapcanada.ca/I normally wear a size 6, but because of the other reviews saying it runs large I got a size 4. The bottom/hips fit perfectly but the elastic that goes around the belly is way too tight. I guess it would have been perfect at 3-4 months, but the proportions are off for me at 6 months.

I am happy I finally have pants I can wear to work. These are very cute and the fit is nice. I got a size 12 which was true to size for me. I'm 5'6" and 30 weeks pregnant. Around 190 lbs at the moment.

Good fit & comfortable. My issue is the dye they used for these pants. Mine were true black the first 2-3 wears. After that they drastically faded (washed according to instructions), and are now a cheap black that makes it look like I've had them for years, rather than several months.

Great maternity pants for work. Nice fit. My only complaint is that they stretch out after one wear.
