Reviews are all over the board, so here is my two cents. I'm 5'8"; 130; straight build. I ordered the Reg length, med size; wanted a snappier look, not "Yoga Pants. The weight of the fabric and attention to details; like waistband width, hem and center leg stitching tuck far exceed my expectations. ...The pair I received, in the red, are 5-star. If anything the fabric might be heavy for summer heat, but the wt also keeps you any tummy rolls tucked in. Based on my measurements the med size fit was everything I'd hoped for, but again, that's a pair of the red pant. Last but not least they are VERY RED, but very pretty! No orangey, pinky, dark red, but a very true red! I did purchase them just this week, so no idea yet of the wear or wash. But, given the fabric content they aren't going to shrink or pill, so I'd definitely recommend ordering them.
for reference, i have waist 28.5", 36" hips, torso is a little longer in proportion to legs. comparing these to the banana republic ponte crop flare pants, these definitely are not as structured and have a different composition. these gap pants are made of 67% rayon, 30% nylon, 3% elastane. the bana...na republic ones are 71% viscose rayon, 24% nylon, 5% elastane. these are smoother, but due to the thinner fabric, you can definitely see any panty lines, so i'd feel a little self-conscious wearing these out. i prefer the banana republic ones better since they have a nice texture to the fabric and look dressier despite still being glorified yoga pants. i saw banana currently has these ones in the same bright red, and i would rather pay more for the quality there. if you're searching for comparable crop kick flare pants, i'd recommend trying spanx, which is a lil pricier but their version has more details that make the pant look like trousers, though alas no real pockets.

I am 5'9" with long legs. I wear a lot of GAP pants and always order talls. These are supposed to be cropped, but they drag on the ground for me. I think they would be better suited to someone over 6' who is looking for a heavier knit crop pant. I will be returning them because the super long leg flares out in a strange way on me.

I am 5'2, 134lb and the small regular fit well. I also bought the XS, but they were way too tight, I have a stomach... I wore them to work, and they did not stretch out. Almost afraid to wash them, I may take them to the cleaners. Great deal when bought on sale.
