These pants seemed so promising…sadly, the reality was a bit disappointing. The first pair I ordered in my usual size 14; however, the waist was quite tight. Too bad, as the pants fit fabulously everywhere else (especially the legs, as many pants are just too large for my legs/thighs which are sli...m). I liked the weight of the fabric for the cold winters in my northern climate, and these would have transitioned really well from fall to winter. I liked them so much I actually exchanged them for a size 16 (which I never wear!), but the waist was basically the same size (weird!). I ultimately returned the size 16 and kept the size 14 which i have given to my seamstress as she thinks she can let out the waist just a bit which will make these pants a winner for me (if she can work her magic!). My warning to shoppers: unless you have a small waist, you may want to steer clear of these pants.
Unfortunately these pants do not have pockets, although the description says they have back welt pockets. The back "pockets" are fake. I am 5'2" and ordered a petite size and they definitely are ankle pants on me, which I did not want. It's a bummer because the fabric is very nice, has a good wei...ght and feels smooth and comfortable. The pants are well made but did not meet my needs for full length pants with pockets, so I will return them.

Love these pants for their comfort and versatility. Only four stars bc no pockets! Such a miss, Gap! Size down as they are uber stretchy. I'm 5'4" 125lbs and bought size 4 and although they were fine I eventually couldn't deal with the excess gap above the bum. Bought size 2 and they're perfect.

gapcanada.ca/I loved these when they arrived! They are flattering, smooth and soft, and a nice thick material. I am 5'7", with a 29"waist and 42" hip and the size 8 fit well. My only grievance, which led to me returning them, is that they were too short and I do not like the ankle style. I would rather a length that hits the top of my foot. Came back to order it in a tall to solve this problem but it appears that doesn't exist.
