Gap's regular (non-organic) cotton thongs have been my go-to undies for 15+ years. Unfortunately, they never seem to be in stock anymore. I decided to try these organic ones, and they're pretty similar in fit and style. The sides may be slightly wider, but I haven't actually measured. It's a bummer ...there aren't more colors/prints available, but that seems to be true of all Gap's underwear right now. Super basic/boring color choices. SIZING. I'm 5'2", 145 lbs. Small-ish waist, big butt, thick hips and thighs. I'm between a medium and a large. Ordered these in a large -- the same size I've always worn in the non-organic version -- and they fit fine. (In case it helps anyone, I also ordered some stretch lace thongs and breathe thongs in size large, and those were too big. I had to exchange those styles for mediums.)
I bought these organic cotton thongs, along with a few other styles (bikini and shorty), for myself and as a stocking stuffer for my adult daughter. When they arrived, I was so impressed that I ordered even more. However, out of the 15 pairs, 4 had the waistband completely disintegrate in the wash. ...It's not fun opening the laundry to find your clothes tangled in elastic strings! Unfortunately, the same thing happened to my daughter's pairs. I reached out to customer service, but they couldn't offer any help. Now, I'm out quite a bit of money, which is disappointing—especially considering this is a Gap product.

Good comfort, I wear a 28 jean but size large in the thongs (yet large for regular underwear) for some reason, but once you figure out the sizing they work great. #sweepstakes
