These are a nice fuller-coverage alternative to the cotton bikinis I normally wear, but they are by no means high rise. I'm 5'9" with a long torso, so maybe on someone short they would come up near the belly button, but on me they are a good 3" below. They are also not a part of the organic cotton b...ralette line. I have the boyshort from that line, and it is a true high rise and of a thicker, softer cotton. This feels more like the normal cotton bikinis. A note on sizing: I am size 6/28 in pants but take a large in Gap underwear for some reason.
Honestly I've found quite a few flaws while wearing these. First and foremost, the gusset is laughably small. It should come up much higher. I also have found the stitching to be pretty shoddy. Washed these once and I already have holes all around in the seams. Other than that, the fit is alright. I... find them to be a bit tight, but they stretch well. I just prefer a less tight fit. I do find the fabric fairly soft, but my main complain is the gusset length and the fact that the stitching seems to be coming apart after only one wash.
