I've worn (and loved) Gap Body cotton undies for years. While I appreciate that this cotton is organic, it is not nearly as soft as the non-organic cotton underwear of yore. The knit fabric seems thinner as well. Not a complete deal-breaker, but a notable and disappointing drop in quality.
Let me start by saying I don't like to write reviews. Who has time for that! But the horribleness of this underwear made me do it. I should also say I really like the old cotton stretch hipster style, which I have several pairs of. Since I needed new nude underwear, I ordered the ORGANIC COTTON STRE...TCH HIPSTER thinking it was the same as what I had before. I was so confident they would be great, I didn't even try them on before I washed them. BIG mistake! I tried them on today and they were awful! The rear covered is uncomfortable. It feels like the area where the crotch meets the rear is smaller not to mention they are cut higher on the cheeks. I know I have an ample rear end so good cheek coverage is hard to find but my other cotton stretch hipsters fit great! I am very sad. Not only do I have 3 pairs of underwear I can't wear but my old favorite style is a no go since the new cut is unwearable. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is the new style sits higher on the waist.

I've been buying these for years.. maybe over a decade... and I'm devastated that you cheaped out on the waistband!! You messed with perfection. So disappointing. Now I have to find new favorite underwear.

I bought 5 pairs a few months ago, and just bought 5 more. I sometimes go up and down in size and these seem to fit well through a larger size range for me without being baggy when Ive lost a bit of weight, or tight when I gain a bit.

I've been buying/ wearing GAP underwear for over 20 years. The quality keeps getting worse and worse while the price keeps going up. The fabric is now stiff and papery. They do not last the way they used to. I've switched over to Old Navy because the fabric is better and the undies are waaaay cheaper BUT......they are kinda loose granny panties even at the smallest size. I'm a size 6 and have to buy an XS in old navy underpants.

I like that these are organic cotton AND came in pretty colors with flowers and stripes. BUT they fell apart after 1 wash. I have 2 others that are already starting to tear. Unfortunately, there are a waste :(

Yes, these are very comfortable, but they are neither hipster nor ultra low-rise. I'd say they are high-rise granny panties. I used to buy the LOVE hipster years ago—they were true low-rise. These are not the same at all.
