As someone with an athletic body shape -- broad shoulders, wider rib cage and no hips -- skater-style dresses are my ride or die, especially when there is no seam at the waist. It gives a more fluid outline to the body, and the skirt on this dress flares out beautifully. I nabbed the tomato red when it was on sale, loved it so much that I grabbed it in the green stripe as well as the denim version. They will be in heavy rotation this summer. The only bone I have to pick is with the linen-blend ones -- there is some weird puckering going on at the bottom of each of the straps on the front, right above the chest. It's not as noticeable with the red version but with the stripes, it's very noticeable due to the design. I assume this is not a defect in the garment but rather in the design. That's honestly what's stopping me from buying any more colorways.

lovely fit, the stretch on the back adapts to a curvier figure while still feeling very tailored. It is fully lined with the linen blend making it a bit of a warmer summer dress.

i am only 5 ft tall but purposely got it in regular stature so it wouldn't be too short. and i must say, i don't know how one would wear this if they didn't get the longer length. i would say for my height, this is the shortest i could go in a professional setting and still look 'respectable'. if i got the short stature i think i would only be able to wear it traveling, beach days, etc. very well made. great for summer, top is fully lined. i also found the top not to be too large as some people say (and i'm rather flat chested) i got XXS

I tried on more black linen dresses than I can count looking for this dress! I have an hour glass shape so I was looking for something with thick enough straps that I could wear a bra if need be, and not tight around my hips (which always makes the material bunch up in the midsection).
