First thing first, I love the coat. The material is not stiff and it is soft. It is quite warm. Today is my first day wearing it and already got many compliments. Btw, I got it yesterday. The thing that I think that you should consider is the pockets if you have wide hips, since you get in that area double pockets due to the coat being reversible. For reference, I am 111 pounds and 5'2".

First time wearing it and it completely came unraveled. 3 of 4 of the pockets, both internal and external, all came unstitched. In addition, the sherpa sheds like no other, leaving a white/tan fur all over your clothes, even if you wear the sherpa on the outside!

This is a great jacket and same as all other Gap jackets, it runs big. Looks great on either side.

I got it on final sale so having paid in the $70s for it, totally worth it. Absolutely don't buy it at full price though. It's very chic but sheds like crazy so if you're wearing furry side in, you can't wear black. The pockets take up a lot of volume too so the belly area can feel a little odd if you button close. Size down, I'm 5 ft 1 and 128 lb I got the XXS/S. It's somehow oversized but also a bit constraining at the same time. Aesthetically though, I love it!

The jacket is cute but it runs very big and sheds like crazy. Avoid it entirely

I really, really like this jacket but it is definitely very oversized! I personally love very oversized clothing and usually size up in a lot of clothes but I got my usual size (L/XL) and it's huge! I probably could have gone a size down and still had an oversized fit. I still like the jacket though but take into consideration that it's very oversized and size down if you want something more fitted.
