got in white size M Regular length. am 5'8, 145lbs with long legs. love the length, these touched the tops of my feet . they fit a little less roomy in the hips and waist than the poplin barrel pants, but I actually like the more "classic" refined cut of these compared to the white barrel ones. they're certainly still a relaxed wide leg look and have plenty of room in the thighs without being too oversized. also didnt think they were see through personally.

I love all of the 100% cotton pants Gap has been making so when I saw these I knew I needed them! I am always a medium petite in Gap as a size 8. I ordered these in a medium petite but I think they run slightly snug (especially if you have larger thighs) so I'm going to return for a large petite because even though they fit, any shrinkage will make them much too snug so if you're at all between sizes.. size up in these. I have the barrel version and these do run smaller than those I would say!
