The neckline is way too low, and the dress is too wide for its length. Not a good fit for a tween with a slimmer build. For reference, I ordered an xl for my 11 year old, who meets the height listed for the xl size. Sizing down does not appear to fix the neckline problem, and I'm hesitant to buy a dress she'd likely outgrow too quickly in length or that may even shrink in length when washed. Please rethink your necklines. I'm sad as the fabric pattern is super cute. I wanted this to work.
